Florida Childrens' Hospital

At Florida Hospital, we’ve cared for children since 1908. Today, we continue this legacy of pediatric excellence through the Florida Children’s Hospital at Florida Hospital.

As a hospital within a hospital, we provide all the advantages of Central Florida’s most preferred health care system, but with a special healing environment designed just for children.

This unique combination of resources enables us to deliver a complete range of dedicated and specialized pediatric health services for our younger patients, while sharing other hospital services such as radiology, surgery and nutrition.

In the last year alone, Florida Hospital:

  • delivered nearly 10,000 babies
  • treated 65,000 kids in our Children's Emergency Center and 1,200 in our NICU
  • helped 55,000 children during Urgent Care Visits
  • performed 25,000 OP surgeries/procedures and 8,000 IP Discharges
